Are you ready to embark on a visual journey that will captivate your senses and transform downtown Orlando into a mesmerizing tapestry of color and sound? We are proud to announce our collaboration with Prismatica, by RAW Design a production of Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, distributed by QDSinternational. This interactive art installation in DTO is available to visit now - February 11, 2024.

Prismatica is a dazzling installation featuring 25 pivoting prisms strategically placed across two picturesque locations— Lake Lucerne and 30 S. Orange Avenue. These prisms are not just static sculptures; they come alive, rotating and reflecting a breathtaking rainbow of colors that shift dynamically with the changing lighting and your unique perspective. As the prisms dance, they create a symphony of chimes, playing music at different volumes that add another layer to the sensory experience. And when the sun sets, Prismatica transforms into a radiant spectacle, lighting up the night sky.

As outlined in Project DTO 2.0, we're committed to creating a vibrant and diverse urban environment, recognizing the pivotal role that art plays in enhancing the community experience. Prismatica reinforces the importance of making various art experiences and destinations accessible to residents and visitors alike. By bringing this interactive art installation to downtown Orlando, the CRA continues to champion the goal of promoting diverse art opportunities and enriching the city's cultural landscape.

These prisms are just one way we have enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the southern gateway to downtown Orlando. The introduction of new palm trees has not only added a touch of tropical vibes but also promotes environmental sustainability. The area has undergone a thorough facelift through pressure washing, rejuvenating walkways and structures, contributing to a cleaner and more inviting atmosphere. These improvements collectively position Lake Lucerne as a picturesque southern gateway to downtown Orlando, fostering a renewed sense of pride and engagement within the community.
