We're Lighting Up DTO!

Luminary Green Park, located in Creative Village, shines a light on the legacy of public service and showcases memorial sculptures of those who dedicated their lives to the prosperity of the Parramore Community.

On February 3rd, the 12 steel installations that honor the community members were illuminated. Family and friends of each honored Luminary stood alongside their memorial and take part in the momentous ceremony. These Luminary honorees include: City Commissioner Napoleon “Nap” Ford, City Commissioner Daisy W. Lynum, Vencina Cannady, Mercerdese R. Clark, Wilbur S. Gary, Dr. Ozell “Billy” Green, Eddie T. Jackson, Henry Sadler, Reverend Nathaniel G. Staggers, Ira “Sonny” Vance, Georgia Nell Woodley, and C.T. Williams.
