Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will pedal into work on Friday, March 31 as part of the city's annual tradition Bike to Work Day. Riders will meet at 7 a.m. at Lake Lorna Doone Park, then head out at 8 a.m. on a police-escorted group ride through Creative Village and on to City Hall.
A Bike to Work Day celebration will be set up at City Hall Plaza at 8 a.m. for downtown workers to learn more about the city's bike projects and connect to local organizations. Free, all-day parking is available at Lake Lorna Doone Park and a limited number of Bird, Helbiz, and Lime e-bikes will be available for those who want to participate in the fun but don't own a bike.
Want to get involved more in biking around downtown? Don't forget about our Downtown Connector Trail that recently opened and enjoy this amazing weather while it lasts!
