Special Events Grants Program Opening August 1

The anticipated return of the Community Redevelopment Agency’s (CRA) Special Events Funding program has returned, with new guidelines and eligibility requirements. The CRA’s Special Events Grant Program will support diverse arts and cultural opportunities to encourage a variety of entertainment within the area. The purpose of this program is to provide funding through grants to support events that promote the goals and objectives of CRA’s Redevelopment Plan for the area, the DTOutlook. 

 

Events held in the downtown area will serve to bring together a wide variety of people, both locally and nationally, to experience engaged programming that will help to build social connections and strengthen the economic development of the area.  

Applications will open Sunday, August 1, 2021 and will close Wednesday, September 1 for events taking place October 2021 – April 2022. Different applications dates are assigned for events taking place later in 2022.
