As DTO grows, mobility becomes an even higher priority. To continue to support the transition to electric vehicles, the city has steadily expanded the number of available charging stations. Electric Vehicle charging is a pivotal step in the direction of reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
This new charging hub will allow for residents and visitors of Orlando to charge their vehicles in 60 minutes or less in the downtown Orlando area. This location is located off I-4 and will bring additional traffic to the downtown Orlando businesses to shop and dine, while waiting on vehicles to charge. The mobility hub will have all types of EV charging for a total of 22 level-3 EV charging stations.
