Go Fetch at Lake Eola Park

Orlando’s largest pet festival is returning to Lake Eola Park with dock diving and doggy sports, a pet costume contest, food trucks, pet-friendly vendors, and of course adoptable pets! The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando invites all animal lovers to “Paws in the Park which kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 11 with the pet costume contest. Participants can register online and are encouraged to invite their friends and family to join in on the fun. There will then be both canine and human activities for owners and furry friend to enjoy together until 4 p.m. Pet Alliance’s mobile vet unit will also be in attendance and providing free vaccines.

Pet Alliance is the region’s oldest and largest animal welfare agency, and “Paws in the Park” supports their mission by educating, sheltering, and healing pets with compassionate and responsible care. Funds raised at this event will help Pet Alliance save more than 4,000 dogs and cats this year by providing care, love, and shelter until they find their furever home.

Downtown Orlando is proud to be one of the most dog-friendly places in the country. From dog-friendly restaurants to the dog amenities available at Constitution Green and Lake Eola Park, residents have numerous options for spending a day downtown without having to leave their doggy-bestie at home.
