Orange County will re-open the Small Business Grant application portal on Monday, October 19 at 9:00 a.m. with expanded eligibility criteria. Commercial businesses that have received $100,000 or less in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding are now eligible to apply.   

As a reminder, Orange County’s Small Business Grant provides a one-time, $10,000 grant to cover business expenses such as employee wages, vendor bills, and rent. 

Orange County also offers micro-grants for home-based businesses. These micro-grants range from $1,000 - $3,000, with the amount received based on 2019 income. To qualify, the business must be operating within jurisdictional code.
