Exhilarating, New Murals Coming to Downtown Orlando

Last updated on April 15, 2025

The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is partnering with KB Murals and artist Kristi Burke to bring "Possibilities" to life on the northeast side of the Amelia St Parking Garage, near Amelia St and Hughey Ave.

Standing at 19 feet by 37 feet, the mural will be painted on an aluminum panel—fabricated and installed by AC Signs LLC—allowing for seamless installation on the parking garage’s uneven surface.

Kristi Burke, the artist behind the “Unbelievably Real” mural at 30 S. Orange Ave., designed Possibilities as a tribute to imagination and the limitless opportunities in everyday life. The artwork features a bold, geometric hand cradling a paper airplane, ready for takeoff—symbolizing creativity in motion. Additional paper airplanes soar in the distance, representing the diverse paths our ideas can take. With a bright blue sky and dreamy pink clouds, the piece invites viewers to embrace curiosity and dream big.

This mural aligns with the CRA’s mission to enhance public spaces through art, adding character, identity, and vibrancy to downtown Orlando. The previously blank garage facade will now become a striking visual landmark, visible from Amelia St, Hughey Ave, and even I-4.

Stay tuned for updates as Possibilities takes flight in downtown Orlando!
