Travel + Leisure Co., a global leader in leisure travel and membership services, is set to relocate its headquarters - and more than 900 employees - to downtown Orlando. Last week, Orlando City Council and the Community Redevelopment Agency approved funding to assist in relocating Travel + Leisure to the vibrant downtown area.
The decision to move to DTO represents a strategic shift, aimed at fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment for its employees while contributing to the city's economic vitality. The relocation involved a capital investment exceeding $29 million and is expected to generate the creation of 102 new high-value, high-wage jobs, solidifying Orlando's reputation as a prime destination for major companies. This partnership showcases the city's commitment to attracting and retaining major companies in its downtown core. Additionally, adding a prominent headquarters to the region serves as an economic catalyst, attracting skilled professionals and fostering a vibrant job market.
With Travel + Leisure Co.'s move, downtown Orlando continues to shape the trajectory of diverse industries on both regional and global scales, reinforcing its position as a thriving business destination with limitless opportunities for growth and innovation.
We look forward to welcoming Travel + Leisure Co. to downtown Orlando and are excited about how they will add to the vibrant energy of the area.
