In our continual efforts to make downtown Orlando safer and more inviting, our crews have started the latest round of construction to bring more light and better walking paths on Jefferson Street. The area of Jefferson Street, between Orange Avenue and the railroad tracks, will see the installation of new lights along the southern sidewalk, as well as the replacement of damaged concrete sidewalk panels. The project is estimated to be completed soon, allowing for a more brightly lit and even walking area in downtown.
