Pet Life
It’s official. Downtown Orlando is a “paw-some” place for pets.
Orlando was ranked #1 as The Best Dog-Friendly Vacations In The US by Booking.com because of the great selection of pet-friendly hotels, pet stores, dog-friendly parks, and ways to keep your pooch entertained.
Everywhere you go in downtown Orlando you’re sure to find a funny, furry mix of pets dining with and walking their owners thanks to year-round outdoor weather and our warm, friendly culture.
We’ve included some tried and true adventure itineraries from our resident 4-legged experts.
Adventure 2: Fast, friendly, frolic
Start with Sunday brunch on the lakeside patio at World of Beer (Lake Eola) and then walk across the circle to the top-ranked Orlando Farmers Market. After enjoying some fresh lemonade and kettle corn, pick up the pace and walk 4 blocks to the Constitution Green Dog Run – downtown’s only “off-leash” park. This place is the equivalent of taking your kid to a candy store for a shopping spree. Unleash, step back, and experience pure pooch joy.
Round trip distance:
1 mile
Adventure 3: Casual, playful, illuminating
Embark on a journey to Creative Village where you and your canine companion can visit the Front Porch, next to The Monroe, where you overlook the heart of Creative Village and Luminary Green Park while enjoying delicious small bites and playing some trivia (depending on the night). After that, take a stroll for some paw-sitivly playful moments at the Luminary Green Park Dog Run where your furry friend can mingle and make pals with fellow tail-wagging companions all day long. As the evening settles, walk back over to Luminary Green Park and pick a nice spot on the lawn to watch the iconic ORLANDO canvas come to life with mesmerizing lights!
