The In-Between Series Presents: Ensemble Quelconque

Ensemble Quelconque (EQ) is a free improvisation collective led by pianist-composer Austin Ashe and neuropharmacologist-percussionist Erik Peden, PhD. With a rotating lineup of performers, EQ explores Cagean indeterminacy and various sacred musical traditions featuring diverse instrumentation—singing bowls, prepared toy piano, gongs, tuning forks, drones, and found objects.
