Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Winner of the 1979 Tony Award for Best Musical and currently selling out in a smash Broadway revival, this soaring musical tells the story of Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett, long in love with the anguished barber, who assists him in his search for his lost daughter and wife. A comic vein runs through the gothic, romantic and chilling account of Sweeney’s search for truth. A Victorian-era ambiance enhances Sondheim’s score, with stunning dissonance and dark beauty. Join us for an evening of fantasy, humor and thrills.
