POW-MIA Recognition Ceremony
Join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and his Veterans Advisory Council in paying tribute to our nation's heroes.
On Friday, September 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the Devos Family Room at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the community is invited to attend the City of Orlando's 2023 POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony to honor United States military prisoners of war and those still missing in action as part of national POW-MIA Day.
Hosted by WKMG News 6, Trooper Steve, this year's event includes special guest speaker, Army Specialist Soshana Johnson, America's first Black female prisoner of war.
The ceremony is a tribute to the United States military prisoners of war and those still missing in action, reaffirming the city's commitment to bringing our heroes home and ensuring that they are never forgotten.

Parking will be available in the City Commons Garage, 460 Boone Avenue and will be validated at the event. Complimentary shuttles from the garage to the venue will be available to those who need it.
