In celebration of World Heart Day, the Orlando Fire Department will be conducting free hands only CPR training near the park area at Lake Eola from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. A fire engine will be on site and personnel will be conducting free blood pressure checks from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Lake Eola fountain will also be lit red in recognition of the day.
B-roll opportunities include participants conducting hands only CPR, blood pressure checks with personnel, the fire engine and more.
Interviews with Deputy Fire Chief Craig Hulette will start at 9 a.m.
Spanish translated interviews will be available if needed.
