Mixtape: MTV 80s Edition!

“Walk This Way” to the raddest benefit concert ever! Mixtape: MTV 80s Edition will be an epic night of electrifying live covers of your favorite MTV hits by the M-80s and DJ Smilin’ Dan. Tickets are now on sale for the annual benefit concert on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the legendary Cheyenne Saloon on Church Street in Downtown Orlando. 

Presented by Orlando Health, Morgan & Morgan, esaSolar and Peacock Capital, this year’s Mixtape event will transport you back to the epic MTV-era with outrageous 80s fashion, a vibrant atmosphere and live renditions of the most beloved songs that graced the screens of early MTV. Headlining the 10th annual benefit concert is the high energy 80s cover band, the M-80s. Special guest DJ Smilin’ Dan will be spinning classic 80s tunes before and after the show.

Mixtape: MTV 80s Edition will also highlight the 15th anniversary of its beneficiary, Page 15. Since 2008, Page 15’s literacy and empowerment programs have allowed youth in Central Florida, many at-risk due to poverty and trauma, to discover their own voice, explore its power and potential, advance critical literacy skills, and write their own future. The event aims to raise $85,000 for Page 15 through ticket sales, sponsorships, silent auction and donations. 

The benefit concert kicks-off at 7:30 p.m. at Cheyenne Saloon (128 W Church St, Orlando, FL 32801). An optional limited VIP Experience with food and craft cocktails will begin at 6:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Limited VIP Experience tickets are $125 in advance.
