Love & Bossa Nova: Daniela Soledade & Nate Najar

With a voice as soft and warm as a beachside breeze, Daniela Soledade is bringing the sounds of Brazil to Orlando. “Love & Bossa Nova” is an intimate showcase of classic bossa nova featuring Daniela’s vocals accompanied by Nate Najar on guitar. Together, they paint a sunny portrait of 1960’s Rio de Janeiro wrapped up in a tender duet.

Born and raised in Brazil, Daniela is a third-generation musician who has been singing from a young age. In fact, the tradition of bossa nova is in her DNA—her grandfather, Paulo Soledade, composed popular songs with renowned bossa nova founders Antônio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius de Moraes, Toquinho and more. In 2019, Daniela released her debut album “A Moment of You,” featuring songs in both English and Portuguese, followed by her album “Pretty World” in 2022. Born from a weekly livestream concert started in 2020, the “Love & Bossa Nova” series has been praised for both Soledade’s “exquisite vocals” and Najar’s “masterful” guitar playing (JazzTimes).
