Kurt Elling Celebrates Weather Report

Dubbed “the standout male jazz vocalist of our time” (The New York Times), Kurt Elling brings us two unforgettable evenings of velvet vocals. With his signature, rich tone, the Grammy Award-winning singer blends elements of jazz and R&B, often incorporating a flow of poetry, beat-boxing, and improvisation into his creative and energetic performances.

A Chicago native, Kurt Elling has been touring and recording for over 25 years, performing for “International Jazz Day” in Havana, Cuba, in St. Petersburg, Russia, in Melbourne, Australia and in Washington DC. He has performed at the White House twice, including a performance in collaboration with the late Marvin Hamlisch and the National Symphony Orchestra for President Obama’s first State Dinner. A celebrated performer, Kurt has won three Prix du Jazz Vocal, two German Echo Awards, two Dutch Edison Awards, and has been nominated for a Grammy Award sixteen times.
