Natalie Diaz, a Mojave-Latina MacArthur Foundation fellow and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet of "Postcolonial Love Poem," will virtually present her work. She will then open the session up to an audience Q&A to discuss her creative and activist work. To maximize accessibility, this will be a hybrid event with the option to attend in person or virtually. The in-person component will consist of a watch party of Natalie Diaz's virtual presentation in the UCF Writing Center followed by a post-event discussion with Jeremy Carnes, a postdoctoral scholar at UCF specializing in Indigenous rhetoric. The post-event discussion will only take place in person.
