Gunhild Carling

Prepare to be swept away by the show-stopping talent of Sweden’s “Queen of Swing.” Whether she’s singing jazz standards, playing one of many instruments (trumpet, trombone, harmonica, oboe, harp, flute, recorder or jazz bagpipe, to name a few) or juggling and tap dancing, Gunhild’s sparkling showmanship is a can’t-miss feat of talent. Through her masterful homage to New Orleans jazz and swing, you’ll feel transported to another era.

Gunhild performs and tours with her own band, and performs in several configurations, from solo to orchestra to symphony. In 2013, she performed with her Carling Big Band at the Royal Palace in Stockholm for King Carl XVI Gustaf's Ruby Jubilee. She has also competed as a celebrity dancer in Let’s Dance as well as Sweden’s Dancing with The Stars.
