Preacher was born in Portland, Oregon, but raised most of his adolescence in Memphis, TN. Preacher moved 20 times before age 10, but if you asked him what city he was from he would say Orlando, FL. Because that's where he grew as a comedian. Everywhere he would go he would learn about different people and different cultures, but he noticed the one universal language everyone had in common was laughter. Which is how he spoke and warmed up to most people. Even when he wasn't the funniest, he was still the loudest. So far Preacher Lawson has been blessed enough to meet a few his idols. He has opened up for many well known comedians. He won the 2015 Funniest Comedian In Florida, the 2016 Seattle International Comedy Competition, and he is just getting started for 2017.
