This workshop is for storytellers of all levels and has two primary focuses:
1. Multi-Tasking in Your Composition
How to create imagery that does more than simply describe, how to define characters in ways that move your narrative forward, and how to use anecdotes, micro-stories, genre shifts, and other devices to maintain greater interest in your story.
2. Collage Techniques
How to put those individual pieces together, collage-like, such that the individual parts of the story are still identifiable, but conspire to live in the listener’s mind long after the story has been told.
You will also learn how to use this technique to effectively combine stories into a full-length show.
