The Melrose FabLab and Melrose Audio crews are teaming up to build that staple of all great 1980's block parties - the boombox! Learn how these boxes work as you build one from the boards up.
Attendees will work together as teams to complete the boombox build with assistance from our fabrication and audio instructors. Learn the principles of electronic engineering, sound manipulation, and basic building techniques.
PLEASE NOTE: the boxes that are built during this program remain with the Melrose Center at the end of the class; this is NOT a take and make program.
