ABOUT THIS EVENT

In celebration of National Library Week 2010, which is from April 11 to April 17, The Orlando Public Library is participating in 67 Books. 67 Books is a weeklong performance art event taking place on the entrance overhang of Orlando Public Library, involving 67 Orange County Library System (OCLS) cardholders, selected through a lottery, reading aloud for one hour at a time, any book they choose from the OCLS collection. The number 67 corresponds to the number of hours Orlando Public Library is open in the span of one week. 67 Books is an independent production of Brian Feldman Projects in celebration of National Library Week.

Are you interested in being a part of 67 Books and read aloud for one hour while standing on the entrance overhang of Orlando Public Library? If so, apply online at www.ocls.info/67books. All 67 places will be allocated by means of a random drawing to be held on Friday, March 19. You will be contacted by email if you have won a place, and then respond as to whether or not you intend to accept the place. The event takes place at various dates and times. These dates and times can be found at www.ocls.info/67books.

The event is sponsored by the donations of area businesses and individuals: Ethos Vegan Kitchen, Fat American, Florida Film Festival, Frames Forever & Art Gallery, Get Feldman!, Mama's Sauce Print Shoppe, Downtown Development Board, Reading in Public, Right Step Media, Show Systems, Sunbelt Rentals, TisseArt.com, Tommy Wingo, Track Shack, Voci Dance. Please contact projects@brianfeldman.com for information on being a project supporter or volunteer!
